thebrotheregg live show gig announcement for Portland, Oregon: Friday, October 21st !!! Very exciting. First show in ages (2 years). BTW, the band is heavy rock these days. Murky Up the Lagoon, a song that was recently posted, was very soft and symphonic. Even the recent video was a psychedelic casio keyboard song that might give you the wrong impression about the new live band. Check out the Dizzy download above. Brand new release, right here on the website only. This song is important because it began this new process of a heavier sort of vision. It will be a fun live show. It's too bad we can't post some more of these recordings, they're coming along nicely, but they're not quite finished. Dizzy was sort of an experiment and the result was catharsis. Unable to leave well enough alone, more catharsis was needed.

In any case, thebrotheregg has gone underground for the last few years and just did its thing in solitary secret. Many, many new songs are the byproduct of this. A blog entry celebrating a new live event and a new song download is truly in order. Please celebrate with us.
